The honest picture of where we were and what we were building towards.

Before Inprova became a certified B Corp in 2025, we published this ESG Report to set out where we stood on environmental, social, and governance performance. It’s an honest account. It covers the areas where we were making genuine progress and the areas where we knew we needed to do more. We published it because we believe organisations that ask their supply chain to meet ESG standards should be willing to measure and publish their own performance first.

What’s in the report

Our environmental performance. How we’re managing our carbon footprint, the investment we’ve made in net zero procurement, and the practical steps we’ve taken across our own operations including energy reduction, waste management, and environmental policy development. An honest assessment of where we were strong and where we had further to go.
Our social impact. How we invest in local communities through charity partnerships, volunteering, and direct support. The social value we facilitate through our supply chain, including SME spend and community contributions. And how we treat our own people, from wellbeing and development through to equality, diversity, and inclusion practices.
Our supply chain responsibility. How we work with suppliers, including our commitment to paying 100% of suppliers within 30 days, how we embed social value into our procurement routes, and how we hold our supply chain to the same standards we set for ourselves.
Our governance approach. How decisions are made, how stakeholders are considered, and how we ensure transparency and accountability across the business. The governance practices that laid the groundwork for B Corp certification.
The challenges we faced. We don’t pretend everything was perfect. The report covers the areas where progress was slower than we wanted and the specific actions we committed to taking.

This ESG Report was published in 2024 and covers Inprova’s environmental, social, and governance performance before we achieved B Corp certification. How does Inprova’s ESG performance affect the procurement solutions it offers?

Our ESG performance isn’t separate from the services we provide to public sector customers. It shapes how our frameworks, DPS, and Dynamic Markets are designed, how suppliers are evaluated, and how contract performance is monitored. Social value requirements are built into our supplier evaluation criteria. Environmental obligations including Carbon Reduction Plan commitments are tracked through Quantum. We pay 100% of our suppliers within 30 days because we believe prompt payment is a fundamental part of responsible supply chain management. For public sector organisations under growing pressure to evidence their own ESG performance, working with a procurement partner that measures and publishes its own ESG data provides an additional layer of credibility. When we embed social value and environmental requirements into our procurement routes, we’re asking suppliers to meet standards we’ve already demonstrated ourselves. Is this report still relevant now that Inprova is B Corp certified?

Yes, for two reasons. First, it provides context that the B Corp Impact Report doesn’t. The ESG Report covers the broader narrative of our approach, the honest challenges we faced, and the specific foundations we built before certification. B Corp scores are a snapshot. This report explains the thinking and the work behind them. Second, it demonstrates consistency. Organisations that only publish ESG data after achieving certification leave open the question of what their performance looked like before the verification process began. This report shows that our commitment to ESG transparency predates our certification and that the practices B Corp verified were already in place and publicly documented. For procurement professionals conducting due diligence on potential partners, having both the pre-certification narrative and the post-certification verified scores provides a more complete picture than either document alone.
